PBB Teen Edition Plus (personal comments)
April 1st, 2008It has always been refreshing to watch the Pinoy Big Brother show, may it be the Celebrity, Teen or the Regular Edition, a cool break from all those fantaseryes, funny faced Koreans and the tear jerking dramas during primetime. Although the last Celebrity Edition was not that exciting mainly because the housemates were so good to be true (that’s why they can’t let go of Mariel and Ethel hehehe), well I can feel some promise in this edition “The Teen Edition Plus”. The new housemates have their own stories to tell, but for now it is still too early to say who might gonna win, but as of the moment the first five on my list are: EJAY,
EJAY FALCON (pROMdie Hottie)

Ejay Falcon is 18 from Pola, Mindoro
“Alam mo yung French yung taga
At first kc Ejay is hesitating to tell the that he’s is half French, it a long story coz, he was raised by his stepfather in Mindoro, her Mom left her with him to be with another guy, and yet d naman pala xa tunay na anak nung kinilala nyang tatay, and apparently his stepdad didn’t know this too. But what touched me the most is when Ejay told Big Brother that her mother admitted these to him already even before, and yet he still chose to be with his stepdad, I was watching his reactions and he was so real, you know naman when arte lang yun diba… especially when he said that “Baka maaksidente xa pag-uwi pag-nalaman na nya eto” that’s why he is hesitant to tell it to his father (pero I think, alam nung stepdad naman cguro na di nya anak si Ejay) pero anyway I’m sure EJAY caught the attention of the many followers of PBB… just like me..(so distracting nga lang ung way nya umupo, hehehe)
Nan
Arnann Jay “Nan” Clenuar is a 17-year-old jokester from Davao. He is profiled as frequent prankster who does not take life seriously because he would become insane if he does. But his comedic antics are equalled with his kindness towards his mother.
I find him like the younger version of Ruben or Nel, the typical pinoy na pinoy, mabait, funny, and yet maraming struggles sa life. Although personally I don’t think he can win, the paawa effect might do the trick to have him in the big four.
Beauty
Christine Marie “Beauty” Gonzalez is 16 from Dumaguete. Having lived a pampered life, she is used to being served, leading to an aggressive and rebellious attitude, one which she has started to change upon her entry into the House.
Beauty is so outspoken, a typical emo gurl, sometimes it irritates me already, but anyway i wonder what was the “alleged scandal” that reprimanded her from attending her graduation.
Priscilla
Priscilla Navidad is a 17-year-old beauty queen from Davao. She is a hearing-impaired person who communicates through lip-reading. According to her profile, she had to undergo surgery at age two, but eventually lost her hearing when she was eleven. Furthermore, her father died when she was six. Despite these obstacles, she was able to win several pageant titles, including the Miss Teen Mindanao title in 2007. To facilitate communication with her alone, Big Brother granted her request of showing his lips to her while talking under the condition that she cannot describe them to her fellow housemates. In a similar rein, viewers can only see a dim or blurred image of the lips to keep his identity vague.
This gurl is astig, it touched me when i watched the episode wherein she’s talking to Jieriel, then she blurted out that it is her dream to have a family of her own, to be able to have a descent job, but due to her disabilities she’s doubting if those dreams would come into reality.
Josef
Marc Josef Elizalde is a 16-year-old Lasalista, from Mandaluyong. He is profiled as a complete opposite of Robi: a rebellious boy who is also a virtual chick magnet. He is one of the two Plus housemates connected to the storied rivalry between his school’s parent institution and Areneo de Manila University.
He’s just so bubbly and i think among the boys, he’s the life of the conversation.
The other housemates di ko pa masyado napapansin but sooner i’ll post my comment on them…

the issue here is not about the rivalry among the two giant channels here in our country, it’s about how we enjoy watching ^^, try to watch k, and be a little open minded…
